Build Modern Web Interfaces That Actually Work
Our Manchester-based programme takes you from basic HTML understanding to building sophisticated, responsive applications. We skip the fluff and focus on what employers need in 2026.

How We Actually Teach Front-End
Most bootcamps throw frameworks at you on day one. We don't. You'll spend real time understanding the fundamentals before touching React or Vue.
Foundation First
Three months on JavaScript fundamentals, DOM manipulation, and CSS architecture. You can't skip this part, no matter what anyone tells you.
Real Projects Only
Every module ends with something you can show. We partner with local Manchester businesses who need actual work done—not invented case studies.
Current Tech Stack
We update our curriculum quarterly. What worked in 2024 doesn't cut it now. You'll learn what companies are hiring for right now.
Your Learning Path
Core Web Technologies
HTML5 semantics, CSS Grid and Flexbox, vanilla JavaScript. You'll build ten projects before touching a framework. It takes longer but you'll actually understand what's happening.
Modern Tooling
Git workflows, npm packages, build tools, debugging. The stuff that trips up new developers when they land their first role. We cover it properly.
Framework Application
Now you're ready. React fundamentals, state management, component architecture. Because you know JavaScript well, this part clicks much faster.
Professional Portfolio
Build three substantial applications. Write proper documentation. Deploy to production. This is what you'll show employers when you're ready.
What Makes This Different
I spent five years hiring junior developers for agencies around Manchester. Most came in knowing React but couldn't debug a simple CSS issue or explain closures.
That's backwards. So we built a programme that prioritizes depth over speed. You'll spend more time on fundamentals than you expect. It feels slower at first—but that's the point.
- Small cohorts of twelve maximum so you get proper attention
- Two experienced developers review every line of your code
- Weekly pair programming sessions with different partners
- Optional evening sessions for people who work full-time
- Direct access to our network of local tech companies
Meet Delwyn Armitage
Lead Instructor
Delwyn spent eight years building interfaces for startups and agencies before switching to teaching. She's particular about code quality and won't let you move forward until your fundamentals are solid. Former students say she's demanding but fair—which is exactly what you need when you're learning.
She teaches the core JavaScript modules and personally reviews every student's portfolio projects before they graduate.
Next Cohort Starts July 2026
We're accepting applications now for our summer programme. Twelve spots available. The application includes a short coding challenge—nothing complex, just enough to see where you're starting from.
